Bos Verbas is a small, quiet campsite with large flat grass pitches with electric hook-ups available. We also have two hand made shepherd huts, each with their own luxury bathroom hut and a well appointed, one bedroom, self-catering holiday apartment.

Bos Verbas is in a simply stunning location, set on 2 & 1/2 acres of flat grass land. Occupying an elevated, south facing, position on the south coast above Praa Sands, a mile long sandy surfing beach. With panoramic countryside and coastal views out across the Atlantic, over an area of outstanding natural beauty where you can take time to relax and appreciate the sunsets and bird song.

It is conveniently located 200m off the main Penzance to Helston Road (A394), far enough away not to be disturbed by traffic noise, while providing easy access to the whole of the west of Cornwall, both north and south coasts, Lands End and the Lizard Peninsula. It is a fifteen minute walk to Praa Sands, where you can access the coastal path, or a short drive to nearby beaches including Marazion and Perranuthnoe. Numerous tourist destinations are within easy reach, including St Michael's Mount, the fishing village of Porthleven with its many pubs and restaurants, artistic St Ives, Lands End and the Minack Theatre. West Cornwall also has a rich mining history with various visitor attractions including the Geevor tin mine and the Telegraph museum at Porthcurnow. There are pubs and cafes close by and a garage with basic grocery and camping supplies a few minutes walk away. A bus stop is located 500m up the road and the nine-hole golf course at Praa Sands is immediately opposite. A large range of shops, supermarkets and laundry facilities can be found at Long Rock (6 miles), Penzance (7 miles) and Helston (6 miles).

For all you plant lovers, you will be spoilt for choice with nine exotic Cornish gardens within a fifteen mile radius. The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many others are further afield for an easy day trip. There are also several good plant retail outlets close by including Trevenna Cross Nurseries, Surreal succulents and The Hardy Exotic nursery. The Wednesday car-boot sale just up the road at Rosudgeon usually has lots of plants and succulents. Whats more to love? Sand, Sea and succulents!
